MGU powers iDrive 7 and iDrive 8, found on BMW models produced from 2018 onward — including the 3 Series (G20), 4 Series (G22), 5 Series (G30), X3 (G01), X5 (G05), X7 (G07) and others.

Requirements

Your MGU unit must have a WLAN/Wi-Fi antenna port for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to work. Android Auto on some iDrive 7 vehicles may also depend on your specific option codes — we'll confirm this is available on your exact spec before booking.
