ID4 to ID6 Flash Compatibility

This applies to BMW NBT EVO units currently running ID4 firmware. Check your version via Navigation → Options → Settings → Position & Version History → Version Information — you're looking for a version starting NBTEvo_A, C, D, E, F or G.

Important: RAM Limitation

ID4 units have 2GB of RAM (later ID5/ID6 hardware has 4GB). This can occasionally cause the unit to restart when calculating long routes using BMW's built-in navigation after the flash. This doesn't affect CarPlay navigation (Apple Maps, Google Maps) — we'd recommend using CarPlay for route guidance going forward if this happens.
